Abstract
This paper proposes a possible microscopic mechanism of time dilation from the perspective of absolute theory. It suggests that gravitational potential difference and velocity change the frequency of periodic timing signals by altering the wavelength of light, which leads to clock bias, rather than a fundamental change in time itself. Based on reasonable assumptions, a clock bias formula is derived and verified with GPS satellite data, yielding results consistent with observations. This mechanism is still preliminary and imperfect, requiring further theoretical improvement and experimental verification.
